"Let the Right One In" - a 24 hour movie marathon?

Horror movies are most certainly NOT my cup of tea...so when I found out that one of the the films for my European Cinema course, Let the Right One In, was a Swedish romantic horror film, I anxiously delayed the viewing of the movie. The film focuses on an outcast who befriends a vampire. The vampire must feed off human blood frequently, and there were countless moments in which the vampire killed, and I would shudder. I started watching the movie last night, then realized, "oh, it's a horror film, I'll wait until morning." Then I woke up in the morning and decided I did not want to watch the film in an empty suite, so I went to the sports center cafe to view it. I ate lunch, got grossed out eating while watching some very bloody scenes, and returned to my suite. I resumed watching the movie at 7:30pm, when my suitemate, Laura, came back, and I finished it probably a half an hour ago. So, all in all, it took me over 24 hours to finish a 2 hour movie...
