Contemporary European Cinema
Tomorrow is my last day of my course, Contemporary European Cinema. I cannot believe how quick the course went by, and the fact that I've watched 16 movies in 5 and a half weeks is well beyond me. I think that amount is more than I've seen in the past year!
My professor gave us all an extension for our film papers, so we now have until Friday. THANK GOD...because I was on page 8 last weekend, and now after lots of editing, I'm back to page 6 out of 8-11.
Looking back on this course, it has definitely been a challenge, but a worthy challenge. I've had to watch movies that I would never in a million years have chosen to watch on my own. I'm more of a family-comedy type of movie watcher. The "Pink Panther" series is my favorite.
Pesticide Removal Day:
The exterminators came around 10am, and I had booked it out of my room well before then to go work on my paper. When I arrived back in my room around 12pm, my mattress was off my bed, the window was open, and now my room is free of pesticides, same as it was before the procedure. I still have to unpack my suitcase and put everything back in my closet...so it's like I'm moving in again. Honestly, I don't know why I went through all the effort to pack up my suitcase, when according to my roommate Paul, I only had to take my sheets and blanket off my bed. I guess I'm a little OCD about chemicals getting on my clothes.
