Hey friends, family, twitter followers, and others,
I leave for Ireland on Tuesday and will be studying abroad there until June! Honestly, I could not be more excited for this opportunity, but the nerves are starting to kick in (and packing is NOT fun). For those of you wondering why I chose Ireland:
1. I knew I wanted to study abroad in Europe.
2. I have already been to England and Scotland. Gotta experience somewhere new!
3. I wanted a program specific to one of my majors (Communications)
4. The program enables me to complete an internship overseas.
I will be completing three courses and an internship while in Ireland. The first (a course on European cinema) is taught by a professor from my school, while the other two and my internship are TBD. Unfortunately, no radio courses are offered, but I plan to continue pursuing my love for radio by getting involved in Dublin City University's radio station.
